James Murphy provides syndicated radio programmes to
FM and Digital radio stations
across the globe.
The concept is to provide English language radio stations anywhere in
the world access to our generic, (only reference to James
Murphy), MOR (middle of road)/Soul-Disco-Funk content. There are many
commercial stations worldwide that struggle to fill their programming
slots and end up broadcasting music only when they have no live
presenters. Our sustaining service will be made available to stations to
take as and when they need. Programming is one of
the highest outgoings for any commercial station.
James Murphy holds all rights to the content.
The content of the shows we will make available will be light
entertainment, more music-less chat format programming.
Content will be made available to subscriber stations via the internet,
so that stations can take the service as and when they need it. The show
will be provided via Internet delivery which means low cost layouts for
the subscribers stations and low investment for James Murphy.
.The weekly syndicated radio shows are broadcast
worldwide - They are available to air to: mainstream radio, internet, community, non profit & hospital
radio stations.
To use one of our shows, there are a
few things we require.
a) You agree to be 100% responsible for any royalties
which may become payable and due for the music played on your station
during the airing of the show. A weekly playlist is available on
facebook.
b) In order to keep the show going, you agree to support the show with
monthly or annual donations via PayPal, which are graciously accepted.

Who is James Murphy?
I
am your host, and also the owner of
Impact Disco, a
Cambridge-based
business. I've loved music since I was a
child. As a 3 year old, I had my first record player, and was known
to be able to name the ‘A’ sides of records when just shown the ‘B’
sides - at a time when I couldn’t even read! I don't remember this
personally, but I've been told this loads of times by family friends!
Building a large collection of records, I first started doing discos
as a 17 year old. I spent a summer as resident disco in a club in
Weymouth, where I started to learn about the art of DJing. After four
years, and with a wife, I left DJing behind and got a ‘real job’.
This didn’t stop me collecting my records, and when they
arrived, CDs. However, my love for music and the enjoyment I got from
DJing brought me back to it.
In January 2009, I decided to get involved in online Radio, and have
quickly been taken on by various stations, and am now being listened to
in 92 countries outside the UK.
