Do you want to go out and dance to those tunes you know and love, but not want to go to a nightclub?
Are you looking to go to a more intimate and friendly environment, with a more friendly, mature crowd?
This is
not just going to be a plain and simple wannabe Jazz Funk Soul night,
but more of a social gathering of like minded people
wanting to have a great night out.
Developed as an offshoot of James Murphy's 'Pure
Grooves' radio shows broadcast on DMR Radio and RFTK Radio, 'Pure Grooves' nights
are going to be for those who love their
music to have that soulful feel. Aiming at the 30+ age group, the nights
are planned to be relaxed and friendly, with great music and a great
vibe.

Bringing you the very best in Jazz Funk Soul & Disco Classics as well as those killer Acid Jazz, R&B, Rare Groove, Smooth Jazz and Funk tracks.
We are now in the process of looking for smart, wine bars - pubs with function room, type venues - Dress Code: No effort - No entry
We are
going to be taking the show on the road in the New Year and are looking
for venues in the following areas
Beds,
Cambs, Suffolk, Essex, Kent, Herts, Oxon, Surrey, Berks, Hants & Outer
London.

James will be playing quality, jazz funk, soul, disco & rare grooves -
music that will move you and take you back in time.
Expect to hear tunes from the 70s, 80s and 90s with the occasional newer
tunes thrown in and now and then something from those 60s soul days.
You'll hear those classics as well as
those lesser known, but equally gorgeous sounds.
